This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Chargehive Ltd (“Chargehive”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains.
1. Our business
Chargehive Ltd is a UK-based technology company that provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) products to business customers. Our operations are primarily digital, with employees and contractors working in office-based or remote roles.
We do not manufacture physical goods and have a relatively limited supply chain compared to traditional industries.
2. Our supply chains
Our principal suppliers include:
Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers
Software and technology vendors
Professional services providers (legal, accounting, compliance)
Sales, marketing and analytics service providers
We believe the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations and supply chain is low, but we recognise our responsibility to remain vigilant.
3. Policies and governance
Chargehive is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly.
Our approach is supported by:
This Modern Slavery Statement
Our internal code of conduct and ethical standards
Supplier and partner due diligence processes, where appropriate
We expect suppliers and partners to:
Comply with all applicable employment and human rights laws
Prohibit forced labour, child labour and human trafficking
Treat workers fairly, with dignity and respect
4. Due diligence and risk assessment
Given the nature of our business, we take a proportionate, risk-based approach to due diligence.
This includes:
Assessing modern slavery risk when onboarding key suppliers
Prioritising suppliers based in jurisdictions with strong labour protections
Reviewing supplier terms and policies where relevant
We may request additional assurances from suppliers if risks are identified.
5. Training and awareness
We seek to ensure that employees and relevant stakeholders understand:
What modern slavery is
How to identify potential risks
How to raise concerns
Training may be delivered informally or as part of broader compliance and ethics initiatives.
6. Reporting concerns
We encourage employees, contractors and partners to raise concerns about potential modern slavery or human trafficking without fear of retaliation.
Concerns may be raised via internal management channels or by contacting:
Email: legal@chargehive.com
7. Effectiveness and continuous improvement
Chargehive recognises that preventing modern slavery is an ongoing process. We will continue to:
Review our policies and procedures
Monitor supplier relationships
Improve awareness and governance as the business grows
